I've been a bit jet-lagged since arriving home late Wednesday night.  And I'm also behind in all sorts of work.  So, it has been hard to find time to blog.  But I wanted to make note of this post by Crhis Fraser, over at Warp, Weft and Way, in which he begins to explore the incipient liberalism of Zhuangzi.  I think he is basically right, though I have tended to think of this aspect of Zhuangzi more in terms of a recognition of individuality, not so much liberalism.  It's not clear to me, too, that the idea of a "communitarian liberalism" gets at what is possible in the Zhuangzi text.  I will try to write more on this in the near future, but in the meantime, if you're interested, take a look at this paper (you can download it) at Chris's site
